Off-Grid Comms

Off Grid comms allows for long range communications between standard cell phone's by adding a LoRa long range link to communicate between them. This creates your own network anywhere in the world to share data between friends. A common application is used for backpackers to communicate with the rest of their party when they separate.

The device is a small battery powered device that contains LoRa and BLE. The phone connects to the BLE connection to enable LoRa to be used for up to 10 mile point to point communications as well as group one to many communications.

A customizable android app provides basic SMS chat like communications between devices.

Pure Engineering has additionally enabled a Mesh Network using LoRa for sending messages extremely long distances.
